Things I want to do in 2011:

The smell of red shirts coming out of storage so we can wear them when the ball drops. The bright lights count down to a new year, and we jump - with money in our pockets and our red attire, with our dogs and with hearts full of hope. We hug and we kiss and we cry and we start brand new. 

It can only get better from here.

downpour

On Wednesday, Jackie and started the day early and got breakfast at Einstein Bagel Bros and then headed over to the Galleria for some after-Christmas shopping. I fell in love with some vampy Christian Louboutins and Daisy by Marc Jacobs and realized how expensive my tastes are for someone who is unemployed. Such a sad life. But quite the opposite. Excuse my non-fluid narrating, I'm currently so scatterbrained at the moment because of New Year's. (Which is my favorite holiday.)

We fell in love with the Billy Reid store. Totally in love. After a good amount of shopping and window shopping, Houston decided to full-on downpour on us. We had a late lunch at Chacho's, a wonderful Mexican restaurant on Westheimer, where we both put our film to work.

I gave Jackie a Moleskine and she immediately afterward she penned this wonderful thing about me.

2010 recap

2010 has been a good, solid year. But it's been a really great year in all actuality. I have a few reasons.

So my day consisted of finally getting Bea back from the boarding place, finally getting a coffee maker, and then buying some new knitting needles and yarn. Now I'm getting into The Strokes. Pretty solid day if I do say so myself.
